For all the beauty, magic and excitement of the holidays, it can be a real breath of fresh air to clear our space! We put those special things away till next time. Afterall, that's what makes them so unique.

Now, I realize there are those of you who love to enjoy your holiday decorations year-round. So you go right ahead! ☺

Just as it is rejuvenating to clean our space, there's something exciting about taking a blank page of notebook paper and clearly marking our goals, ideas and plans. It organizes our minds, making clear our intentions.

My mother used to make lists for every occasion. She found it a great joy each time she could cross off a task. This sense of purpose and accomplishment is something that's tied into our contentment and peace.

No worries if you fall off the plan. Start over! Or do the simplest of things until you're ready for the bigger ones.

No matter what, we all move forward at our own pace. Let's help each other when we can and let this year's lessons make our future holidays all the more bright!
